Conditions of Participation Driver Courses
Anyone who decides to participate in Vittorio Caneva Rally School’s Rally Courses accepts the risks involved in motorsport, risks to people, vehicles or property.
The customer (or guardian) declares that he/she is aware of the risk involved in the use of cars on the road. Damage caused by negligence and/or misuse of the vehicle itself will be fully billed to the customer following an accurate estimate of such damage.
For Beginner Rally Courses and Advanced Rally Courses such damages are covered by Vittorio Caneva Rally School up to a maximum amount of €1,000.00. The remaining amount of the sum must be covered by the client himself.
The School (owner of the vehicle) declares that it will provide the car in perfect mechanical condition such that the scheduled day will run smoothly. Any accidental mechanical issues are exempt from this condition.
The School at any time during the Course, if deemed necessary, may assess the driver as unfit to carry out the agreed program and thus discontinue the driving activity. In such a case, the client may receive a refund based on the activity not completed.
The customer agrees to comply with the behavioral instructions for the entire duration of the course given by the School instructor. The customer also assumes all civil and criminal liability associated with the use of the subject car.
For the purpose of ensuring safety, the activity carried out in the car may be subject to videotaping. Such activity is carried out with full respect for privacy according to current regulations.
Recognizing the potentially dangerous nature of Motorsport, the client releases the School and the Team from all liability for any case of injury in which they may incur as a result of participating in such a Course.
For all other Rally Courses that also include the use of competition cars consult the relevant insurance conditions and iptions from time to time if any.
By participating in courses and events organized by Vittorio Caneva Rally School, you agree that:
- Copyright – The courses and events promoted are original materials whose ownership belongs to MR Sport Management. No part of the handouts or course materials may be reproduced, transmitted, transcribed, archived or translated without the written permission of MR Sport Management. The same applies to graphic and photographic materials where not otherwise specified.
- Instructional Materials – The editors and owners of the handouts and manuals, while they have taken the utmost care in reporting the information in the most correct manner, take no responsibility if the results obtained in using the information presented do not match the participant’s expectations.
- Safety – The material presented in the handouts and manuals is not a substitute in any way for the procedures and safety requirements of driving. Therefore, anyone who uses the information illustrated in the courses hereby discharges the Vittorio Caneva Rally School and MR Sport Management from any direct or indirect damage of any kind, patrimonial or not, caused to himself or others during the practice of driving in any form (be it sports, Rally, etc.).
- Responsibility – Rallying (motorsport) is a risky activity if not conducted diligently accidents can result. Therefore, the driver assumes all responsibility for compliance with current safety regulations (traffic laws), as well as medical requirements.
- Down Payment and Reservation – When booking online, you are entitled to pay a non-refundable down payment in the amount indicated on the course or service purchase page. This deposit paid is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, after which date it is to be considered expired and non-refundable. The purchaser agrees to pay the balance in the manner indicated. The final reservation must be agreed upon by e.mail, message or telephone. Any cancellations after the Reservation must be made at least 7 working days before the start of the course, otherwise the deposit will be retained and cannot be used for another date.
- Privacy – Pursuant to Law No. 675 of December 31, 1996, you authorize the processing of personal data for course participation and for statistical and marketing purposes in order to improve services and products without prejudice to all rights guaranteed by law. You authorize MR Sport Management to enter simple personal data in the Online Community for the dissemination and promotion of the Rallistica activity with the purpose of aggregating fans, sharing experiences of this sport as well as to publish photos and videos taken during the activities carried out.
